Eindhoven Airport

To everyone's satisfaction, IP Parking already equipped the P2 site with an online reservation system based on license plate recognition in 2007. P2 was also used as V.I.P parking.

Now it's the turn of the much larger P1 lot! A completely new system will be implemented here as well, entirely in an online environment. The P2 reservation system will also be available for P1. Surrounding companies can easily use the parking facility by using IP Controllers and Firm Base.

Update 2008

The installation is going well! At this moment the system is operational and we are fine-tuning it. To give you an impression, here are some pictures.

To serve parkers even better, Eindhoven Airport has chosen to expand the parking system at P1 with two IP Cashless payment terminals. As a result, travelers will have to wait less time when paying for their parking ticket. This has to do with the fact that paying with PIN is becoming increasingly popular with parking systems. And PIN payments are simply slower than paying with cash.

Update 2012

It is getting busier and busier at Eindhoven Airport. This has created an additional need for parking which Eindhoven Airport is responding to by building a new parking garage. This parking garage will be linked to IP Parking's parking system at lot P1, which has already been in use for 5 years.

The garage will be equipped with 2 entrances and exits. For paying the parking fees, two full service pay machines will be installed. Of course, license plate recognition will also be used here, so that visitors can experience optimal parking convenience. The parking garage has a capacity of no less than 1,400 parking spaces over 4 floors.

Update 2013

IP Parking realized a complete integration of a parking webshop with the parking system. The entrances and exits are equipped with touch screens so that a reservation code can be entered. Of course, license plate recognition is also applied.

Update 2014

The pay machines will be equipped with an intercom station. This applies to P 2 to P 5. Given the upcoming crowds, Eindhoven Airport wants to make parking even easier for travelers. For people with a Parkmobile account, this means that they no longer need a ticket. This by means of license plate recognition.

People with a Parkmobile account can drive in and out so easily. A camera reads the license plate of the Park mobile user when entering and opens automatically. When exiting, paying at the pay machine is no longer necessary. The Park mobile user pays the costs at the end of the month.

Expansion spring 2014 - P8

In the spring of 2014, Eindhoven Airport's parking facilities were significantly expanded. On the north side of the airport, on the Westfields site in Oirschot, a new parking system has been constructed for 800 parking spaces, location P8. From here one can take a shuttle bus to the arrival and departure terminal. This area is intended only for parkers who have reserved in advance.

Customer experience

L. Wernaart / Manager Technical & Facility Services

"The reason Eindhoven Airport chose IP Parking is that our visions for the future were seamlessly aligned. A fully web-based system was exactly what we were looking for.

In addition, we saw that IP Parking's hardware was greatly reduced compared to other suppliers. We saw many advantages in this with regard to performing our 1st-line maintenance.

In addition, a full park webshop has been rigged up, allowing consumers to easily reserve a parking spot."
