Elkerliek Hospitals

The hospital has operations housed in two locations with a distance of 10 km. Yet through IP we are easily able to turn this into one system.

After the Anthonius Hospital in Sneek, we have now also been commissioned to provide the Elkerliek Hospital in Helmond with a new parking system. This is a very nice assignment for IP Parking, especially since we are convinced of our added value for the healthcare sector compared to traditional parking systems.

Six pay machines will be installed where people can pay with pin, credit card, chipknip, coins and bills. There will be a total of five entrances and five exits. In addition, the barriers will be equipped with a license plate recognition camera, so that staff can enter or exit the grounds very quickly and without further actions during the morning and evening rush hour.

Recognizing the license plate also has an advantage for short-term parkers. They no longer need to present the barcode card when exiting the car park because the system already knows that the parking fee has been paid at the pay machine.

In addition to the parking system, the hospital is also switching completely to our access control system. All connected doors will be equipped with a Mifare reader and linked to the central Parkbase management software. All equipment will be connected to the web-based control room application. While viewing the video images, control buttons of the parking system are directly callable and programmable. This allows the most common tasks to be operated from a single screen.

IP Parking took on the project "turn-key," giving the hospital a complete upgrade to the latest available technology in a very short time. The Elkerliek Hospital in Deurne has recently been used more actively than before. There are new operating rooms, as a result of which there is a much greater parking pressure than before. To limit this parking pressure, paid parking is now being introduced. The hospital has selected IP Parking for this purpose. In addition to the parking system, a complete CCTV system will also be installed by us.

Update 19-03-2013. Elkerliek Helmond connects to Gepast parkeren.
