Business parking at Infinity Amsterdam
How do you handle a shared parking facility for multiple companies? At many modern office complexes, such as Infinity in Amsterdam, shared parking facilities are a common scenario. The office building provides space for multiple companies, but has a (limited) underground parking garage of 150 parking spaces. How do you ensure that the available parking spaces are distributed efficiently, without creating ambiguity or disagreement about how many employees are allowed to park per company?
The Challenge
In a shared parking garage, it is important to have a system that allocates parking spots efficiently. This way every user, be it an employee, VIP or visitor, finds a spot when entitled. In addition, the system must ensure good traffic flow. Office complexes have peak times, when many employees arrive and leave at fixed times. A quick and clear system prevents queues and confusion at such times.The system must also work efficiently for parking managers, relieving them of the burden and reducing time spent on manual checks or resolving daily bottlenecks.
The solution
Recently our advanced parking system was implemented in Infinity's parking garage with additional FirmBase control software. By using FirmBase, the companies located in Infinity can easily manage and allocate their parking spaces through a user-friendly platform. The solution allows companies to manage their parking spaces in the system, assign them to employees, register visitors and monitor usage.
FirmBase's strength lies in its flexibility and user-friendliness. Employees get automatic access through license plate recognition, where license plates can easily be entered and changed in the system.
