Future-proof and Scalable Charging Solution in Parking Garage Hoeksterend in Leeuwarden
The Hoeksterend parking garage in Leeuwarden is taking an important step towards sustainable mobility with the installation of 76 new charging stations. To celebrate, drivers of electric vehicles can charge their vehicles for free from September 25 to 30. Both parking and charging can be processed in one transaction via Direct Payment, without the intervention of an external charging provider.
IP Charging: Innovative Collaboration
Thanks to the collaboration between IP Parking and BlueMarble, an integrated solution has been developed for both parking and charging. By linking our Parking Management System (PMS) to BlueMarble's Charge Point Management System, operators can manage charging and parking services in one user-friendly platform. This system provides maximum flexibility and control with the ability to adjust rates based on user profiles, ensuring a seamless and efficient parking and charging experience for the end user.

Prepared for the future
The parking garage is not only equipped with 76 OSTRA charging stations, but is also prepared for expansion to 352 charging points. This scalability is made possible by innovative Load Balancing Enterprise software. This system efficiently distributes available power capacity across all current and future charge points within one integrated platform. By using smart charge controllers and taking into account both the main connection and distribution boxes, the solution ensures optimal load balancing. This allows the number of charge points to increase without overloading the network.
