SnowWorld Landgraaf

Aug. 22, 2024

SnowWorld Landgraaf, one of the largest indoor ski resorts in Europe, has chosen IP Parking's advanced Parking Management System (PMS). This venue, known for its extensive indoor winter sports activities, attracts thousands of visitors each year. Due to the high throughput at its 700 parking spaces, switching to a reliable system from IP Parking was a logical choice.

The challenge
SnowWorld Landgraaf was looking for an advanced system with extensive capabilities such as license plate recognition and flexible payment options, including parking subscriptions.

The solution
Both the entrance and exit are equipped with an IP2 XPERIENCE terminal with 15" TFT touchscreen and BARRIER Gate AS barriers integrated with the fastest License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras on the market. An IP2 XPERIENCE cashless payment terminal was installed at the reception desk.

IP Parking implemented an innovative system with various services to increase user convenience and optimize flow. Visitors with a monthly or annual pass can use the Whitelabel Park-Spot platform to take out an appropriate parking subscription and reserve parking spaces in advance. The system is set up so that visitors can exit within a certain period of time without charges based on license plate recognition. After this period, it is also possible to pay the parking fee at the pay machine or via IPS (IP Parking Payment System) by scanning the QR code on the parking ticket. This minimizes waiting times at the pay machine and contributes to a more efficient traffic flow.

At SnowWorld Landgraaf, they believe parking should be as easy as sliding down a ski slope. SnowWorld management shares, "By partnering with IP Parking, we are completely unburdened and at the same time guarantee our visitors a flawless parking experience!"
