At IP Parking we are continuously implementing improvements to the operating system. This is important because it allows us to add new functions and detect and eliminate any "bugs".
The following functions have been added to the latest version of ParkBase:
Bike Rental
Want less CO2 in the city? The Bike Rental Service offers parkers the option of renting a bike upon presentation of a valid parking ticket. This is a sustainable way of discovering the city by bike and is perfectly suited for P+R locations. The bike cannot be stolen because the bike renter can only leave the parking facility by car after the bike has been returned. The motor vehicle serves as a type of collateral in this case.
CCV Loyalty
IP Parking has established a link with the CCV Loyalty system, which enables residents and visitors to park less expensively in all local parking garages in the city centre. How? By exchanging points saved for a parking discount. For every 100 points you get a € 1.00 discount. Just indicate that you want to offset your points against your parking costs. The parking discount is applied to your monthly invoice. It's that simple.

GDPR
Trace files (extensive log files that are saved by the server) are automatically deleted in this version after the set duration. This hence complies with the requirements of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Card import
Subscribers can now be imported without ticket numbers. This was desirable for ticketless systems because subscribers enter and leave the parking facility solely based on their license plate.
Reports
Additional details have been added to the "tape drawings and add cash" financial reports, so that these data are visible per terminal.
Communication failure
In the event of a communication failure, the gate can open on a loop for parking facility entrances and departures. The system activates this mode by default when there is a failure, so the operator does not need to physically open the gate.
API Reduction
The API Reduction has been expanded to support ticketless systems. Previously a barcode ticket was necessary. Now entering the license plate is sufficient to give the parker a discount in money, percent or time.
Discount codes that are generated in ParkBase could previously only be offered at the cash register. Now they can be used via the API so that they are recognized in websites and/or third-party apps.
Help?!
ParkBase's help function has sub-menus to help you find answers and questions more quickly.
Lost ticket function
In the past, a parker could only purchase a lost ticket (fair or set price) at the central register. This function has now also been added to the exit register, so that a parker with a lost ticket can pay upon exiting. In addition to a lost ticket, an operator can also send a lost ticket task to the exit.
Reservation schedules
The reservation schedules have been expanded with a filter function, due to which operators receive a clear overview of all open schedules.
