Company parking at Infinity Amsterdam

How do you manage a shared parking facility for multiple companies? In many modern office complexes, such as Infinity in Amsterdam, shared parking facilities are a common scenario. The building houses multiple companies but has a (limited) underground parking garage with 150 parking spaces. How do you ensure that the available parking spots are distributed efficiently, without confusion or disagreement about how many employees per company are allowed to park?

The challenge

In a shared parking garage, it's important to have a system that allocates parking spaces efficiently. This ensures that every user, whether an employee, VIP or visitor, gets a spot if they are entitled to one. The system should also support smooth traffic flow. Office complexes experience peak times when many employees arrive and leave around the same hours. A fast and clear system helps prevent queues and confusion during these moments.

The system should also work efficiently for parking managers by reducing the need for manual checks and saving time on daily tasks.

Our solution

Recently, our advanced parking system was implemented in the parking garage of Infinity, along with the additional FirmBase management software. With FirmBase, the companies based in Infinity can easily manage and allocate their parking spaces through a user-friendly platform. This solution allows companies to manage their parking spots, assign them to employees, register visitors and monitor usage within the system.

The strength of FirmBase lies in its flexibility and ease of use. Employees are granted access automatically through license plate recognition, with license plates easily entered and updated in the system. The system also allows companies to designate VIPs, ensuring that key employees and guests always have a parking space. Want to learn more about FirmBase? Take a look at this page.
